Poly Coatings gives you three different processes to choose from.
The Poly-Ond Process, developed in 1976, is a plating technology for metal. Poly-Ond is a liquid bath process which makes a uniform chemical deposition of nickel phosphorous impregnated with teflon.
Dry Lubricity
Extremely low coefficient of friction
Unequaled mold release
High resistance to corrosion
Uniform deposition
Controlled hardness
Permits use of more economical metals
More Info
Electroless Nickel is the uniform chemical reduction of nickel phosphorous from a bath onto a basis material.
Corrosion protection
Uniform deposition
Controlled Hardness
permits use of more economical metals
More Info
Sulfamate Nickel is a highly purified electrodeposited nickel having exceptionally low tensile stress and ductility.
Easily machined or ground
Low tensile stress
Salvage worn or mis-machined parts
Electroless Nickel or Poly-Ond compatible after machining
Heavy build up
Ductile deposits
Excellent corrosion protection
